A Riverside Community Robotics Team Based Out of
La-Sierra High School

A robotics team is made up of many sub-teams both during build season and at competitions.

Build Season Roles:

Design-
Our design sub-team uses the Computer Aided Drafting(CAD) program SOLIDWORKS. They design the entire robot in CAD during the first two weeks of the build season. We use the CAD models to manufacture our robot parts.

Mechanical-
Our mechanical sub-team assembles and manufactures parts for the robot. They normally split into multiple sub-teams to create different parts of the robot.

Electrical-
The electrical sub-team puts together the robotic control systems that allows the robot to move and receive programming.

Programming-
The programming sub-team uses the C++ WPILibraries to program the autonomous and tele-operated aspects of the robot.

Public Relations-
The public relations sub-team uses ROBOKONG's social media to show our progress during the build season and get the teams name out to the community.

Historian-
It's the historian sub-team's job to record our progress during the build season. Taking pictures of the robot as its being built.
Competition Roles:

Drive Team-
The drive sub-team is a group of 4 team members chosen by the mentors that consist of 2 drivers, a human player, and a drive coach. They are in charge of using the robot on the field.

Pit Crew-

Scouts-
